Committed to producing Duroc pork responsibly, consistently

At Vande Rose Farms, we have raised award-winning Duroc hogs on our family farms for more than a century. We continue to believe it is the finest breed for producing great tasting pork.

Some say the Duroc is harder to raise and care for than other breeds, but we believe extra work only makes it better. On the farm we house our hogs in a comfortable setting to ensure good health and quality growth. We feed all our hogs a rich diet of natural grains grown here on our own farms with absolutely no added growth promotants or antibiotics.  In keeping a watchful eye, we maintain detailed records on all of our animals from birth, so we know we're consistently producing wholesome, all-natural pork.

When the hogs ready for market, a member of the Vande Rose Farms family hand selects each animal to make sure they display the ideal profile and weight to assure product uniformity. We load our market hogs on our own trailers and deliver them to our local processing partner less than an hour from our farm, preventing unwanted stress on the animals and preserving the meat quality.

We've trained our local processing partners to minimize stress during processing. They also use a special carcass chill down process retain the meat's natural qualities throughout processing and packaging.
